WeirdgeCatCo is a collective of Los Angeles-based artists who are committed to supporting and uplifting Palestine. We stand for justice and liberation for all people as we struggle against the same oppressive systems and institutions.
In spring of 2024, in response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, I created an artist collective for global justice with two of my close friends. As artists-activists, we applied our creative skills to support Palestine both monetarily and through creating meaningful art that raises awareness and builds solidarity.
We contribute 100% of our profit to direct and mutual aid to support people in Gaza during the ongoing genocide. So far, we have raised over $3000 through selling original prints, stickers, and other handmade items.
Why WeirdgeCatCo?
Weirdge Cat is a vacant-eyed, void-shaped character created by one of our team members, and they quickly became the face of our initiative. Though mysterious and a little mischievous, Weirdge Cat is a quirky little guy with rad politics and a big heart. And in that way, Weirdge Cat represents us all.
Also, the "Co" in our name stands for "Collective"! Not "Corporation"!
As the lead product designer of WeirdgeCatCo, I contributed several digital prints, stickers (including our bestselling Weirdge Cat sticker set), handmade linocut prints, and polymer clay pins + keychains.
Palettes for Peace
We've boothed at several in-person events at UCLA, including PCRF at UCLA's annual "Palettes for Peace" exhibition in both 2024 and 2025.
